Belle Plagne Resort Description

Snow range:
1250m - 3250m

Height:
2050m

The resort of La Plagne consists of eleven villages surrounded by great Paradiski area with a cable car offering access to Les Arcs. The villages which make up La Plagne vary in size and character and provide varying flavours of apres ski.

Belle Plagne, at 2050m, resembles a typical Savoyarde village. It offers excellent access to the ski school and is a favourite with families. All the resorts offer slopeside accommodation, local services including their own ski schools and links by road and piste to the other villages.

Lyon is the nearest airport to La Plagne (two hours away), while the ski train goes to Aime, 30 minutes away.

Beginners and intermediates are very well served in La Plagne, with wide boulevard-style pistes to practise those developing carves. Advanced skiers and boarders have lots of off-piste and Boarders also have the new park at Plagne Soleil to whet their appetites.

La Plagne Apres Ski:

Each village has its own bars and restaurants offering a blend of cuisine from pizzerias to local specialities. All the resorts are interconnected all day and part of the night allowing you to take advantage of the activities on offer in the other resorts. In addition to bars and restaurants activities include cross country skiing, snowshoe walking and paragliding.

Other Activities:

Disco
Fitness Centre
Sauna
Jacuzzi
Bowling
Paragliding
