Livigno Resort Description Resort Height: 1820m Highest Lift: 3000m Livigno has developed over the years from a tiny farming community to become one of the top ski areas in Italy. The original three hamlets have now joined to form a long village Livigno, spread out along the valley with skiing on both sides. The lift system in Livigno has been improved and extended and opens up a huge snow sure area for both skiers and snowboarders with Livigno there is the advantage of little of no queuing. The whole ski area in Livigno is linked by a regular ski bus service, free with a lift pass. Also within reach is the sopthisticated swiss resort of St Moritz with its 350kms of ski runs. Difficulty Levels: Beginner: 42% Intermediate: 46% Expert: 12% Livigno Apres-Ski: On a whole the nightlife is quite quiet. Livigno has lots of shops, which offer tax-free shopping and have almost anything to offer, this is a great place to do some bargain shopping. There's also a lot of fantastic restaurants, which serve a wide range of mostly traditional and Italian cuisine.
